Terms of Use

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Rewire, made by Kyle White in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. By joining the waitlist or using the Rewire app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Rewire.

Who can use Rewire

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. You're responsible for keeping your account secure.

Your content

You own the photos, screenshots and text you add to Rewire. You give us permission to store and display them only so the app can work, for example showing your proofs to friends you've chosen to share with.

Your proofs must be your own. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.

Zero tolerance for abuse

Rewire has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not:

• post sexual, violent, hateful or illegal content;
• harass, bully, threaten or impersonate anyone;
• post photos of other people without their permission;
• spam, cheat the XP system or try to break or misuse the app.

You can report content or block any user from their profile, a Versus screen or a photo. We review every report within 24 hours. We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, without notice.

Rewire Pro

Rewire Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple account. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel it in your iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. If you start a free trial, you're charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Apple handles refunds under its own policies.

XP, coins and items

XP, coins, SOS tokens and Halo Studio items are earned by using Rewire. They're a licence to use them inside the app, not property you own. They have no cash value and can't be bought, sold or transferred. Wagers between friends use XP only, never real money. We may change how they work to keep the game fair.

Screen Time and blocking

Rewire uses Apple's Screen Time features to block apps. We do our best to make blocking reliable, but we can't promise it will work in every case, for example if iOS changes. Don't rely on Rewire for anything safety-critical. Phone calls and emergency services are never blocked by Rewire.

Not medical advice

Rewire is a focus and habit tool. It isn't medical or mental health advice or treatment.

Changes and ending

We may update Rewire and these terms. If we make an important change, we'll tell you in the app or by email. You can stop using Rewire and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability

Rewire is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
